Do you suffer from anxiety? Then the last thing you need is something else to worry about. Unfortunately, the side effects of modern medications are all too often alarming. Instead, more and more people are giving serious consideration to more natural approaches to controlling anxiety because they are thought to be safer and more effective.

Herbal does not necessarily mean mean better. The active ingredients in herbal remedies are chemicals. They can interact with other drugs or chemicals in your body. You should consult your physician to find out what the best options for you are.

Given proper precautions, herbal remedies are a viable option. Using vitamins, herbs, supplements, and simple dietary adjustments can be very effective. In many cases, sufferers find them even more effective than more traditional medications.

For example, an herb commonly used is dandelion. The leaves of this plant contain vitamin B, which benefits the body in many ways. Thiamine, riboflavin, and other B vitamins can promote better mental function. This can include reduction in anxiety. While sometimes used in salads, dandelion is usually steeped in hot water making an infusion, or “tea.”

Another natural herb is chamomile; commonly used to induce a gentle sleepiness, it has proven effecting in fighting anxiety as well. Like dandelion, chamomile is usually steeped to make an infusion. Its benefits include mood elevation, fever reduction, and metabolism acceleration.

Of course, to get the most out of any herb, it must be of pharmaceutical grade. This means that the plant has been evaluated at the molecular level to determine purity and efficacy and that the quality of the herbs have been monitored. There is no telling what’s in a mixture purchased at a road-side stand. Only with proper oversight can you rest assured that you know what’s going in your body.

Natural herbs are not witchcraft; they have been used by millions of people for centuries. With proper oversight from physicians and regulators these supplements can be an attractive option to patients concerned about the safety of new-fangled drugs. One of the best results of using older approaches is the greater peace of mind they often give.

by topgear

Maybe somewhere along the line someone said looks don’t count,it’s about what’s inside that matters. To some extent this may be true once you start to know a person but, for the most part, looks do matter. In this day and age when beauty has become such a money issue, looks count a great deal and most frequently that first look generates the first and permanent feeling. Frequently, there isn’t a second chance to remake the first picture and if that first impression isn’t good, it probably will stay that way.

When it comes to dating, social interactions and relationships with the opposite sex, looks do count very highly.Sustaining a great body is frequently not a choice but a prerequisite if you want to be regarded as attractive by many different groups or members of the opposite sex. This applies no matter what age, occupation or station you are in life.

Sometimes as we get older, we add on a few pounds at a time, not paying any particular attention to the extra weight gain because it happens over the years. Having children, stress, lack of exercise and poor eating habits can all be contributors to a spreading midsection and the loss of our high school figure.

The good news is that once you understand that looks do matter, you can set to work on creating a great body that will get you those head turning looks. How you look is an outward appearance of how you take care of the physical you. This is the first thing people see about you when they look at you and sometimes it is the only impression they will have of you. If you are overweight or out of shape, this is what people see, no matter how nicely you may be dressed or what kind of car you are driving.

Getting a great body is more than a notion. It requires dedication, determination and hard work. What it does not require is that you go it alone. There are many weight loss programs designed to work with you and help you achieve your goal of getting a great body and the program creators want you to succeed at losing weight and having the body you’ve always dreamed of.

When you make up your mind to start building your great body, be sure to seek out a program that is oriented to your specific body type and needs. Not all weight loss programs are created equal and think that one of the biggest keys to carrying a great body demands that you reach an ideal body weight and preserve that weight by eating healthy and exercising regularly.

*I am happy to say there is a tested and proven method to stop you gaining weight. *YOU will reverse the trend and have a realistic weight LOSS within 7 days. And this method solve your problems that is… *Fast - Rearranges your life, puts it in order and gets your sanity back in days! *Established- Has worked the very first time on thousands of overweight people and will work for you too. *Healthy- Will have you feeling great in just days *Human - Will help you lose unwanted weight without damaging your friendships.

Because looks do matter, don’t be demoralized if your body does not look like you want it to. With a good weight loss program, you can shed those surplus pounds and turn your figure into a great looking body that you’ll be proud to show anywhere and everywhere you have to go.

Stress and Anxiety Symptoms

A lot of people have experienced some level of stress, anxiety or depression in their lives. Advertisements are everywhere for products and cures, but few people realize just how many aspects there are to depression and just how many sorts of depression there are. Depression is separated into types based on the various sets of symptoms which are presented by the sufferer. One of these types is called Agitated Depression. By definition, Agitated Depression is a depressive experience that is determined by hypomanic behaviors. As with any type of depression, there are a large number of symptoms which can occur depending on the individual concerned. Everyone is slightly unique in how they present with the illness.

Breaking Down Of Symptoms For Agitated Depression
For someone to be diagnosed with Agitated Depression they must present with the following symptoms in order to meet the criteria: They must be disquieted by depressive episodes which qualify as major and have a minimum of two of the following symptoms: motor agitation, psychic agitation or an intense inner tension, racing thoughts, or thoughts which are crowded and uncontrollable. Motor agitation is the lack of ability to remain stationary, psychic agitation is also known as mental agitation, which means a state of emotiveor mental distress. This may or may not include or be contributed by racingor frantic thoughts.

Surprisingly or perhaps not so surprisingly, Agitated Depression falls under major depressive episode rather than mixed bipolar disorder, which it more closely resembles. This is according to the DSM-III-R. There are other forms of Agitated Depression. The clinical forms are Psychotic which has the proposed name of Melancholia, Non-psychotic which follows the RDC criteria, and may qualify as an excite factor for anxious depression.

Agitated Depression also displaysin Bipolar Disorder. It is not unusual, however it needs to be properly diagnosed, since it can have a large impact not only on the persons prognosis but also on their treatment plan. To be a candidate for for Agitated Major Depressive Disorder you must have two of the following symptoms for more than two days during any episode: pacing, hand wringing, motor agitation, outbursts of shouting, complaining, inability to stop talking, and/or pulling on hair, skin, or clothing.

Depression is a primary illness. If left untreated, it can have problematic and sometimes fatal implications not just for the person troubled by it, but also for those around them. If you or someone you know seems to be suffering from these symptoms see a certified medical professional and prompt the person suffering to get help.
Obtaining help can make all the difference in bringing back control of ones life
and getting back to savouring the joys of living.

by Ricardo d Argence

Bodybuilding supplements are taken by weight trainers to build muscle mass and reduce fat. They are also taken to improve a person’s performance and make recovery from exercising and training easier.

When you increase the intesnsity of your training, it’s important to take vitamin supplements the be sure your body is getting all of the nutrients it needs during such increased activity. You may not have the energy necessary to do bodybuilding, which is a strenuous exercise without these.

To grow muscle, you require protein supplements like, for example, creatine and whey protein. Taking vitamin and mineral supplement during trainin will be sure that your body does not lose them in the process. The food eaten by us is converted into energy by vitamins and minerals. Vitamins also help with muscle building and burning fat.

There are certain protein supplements that can help you build muscle along with a training program you may have, such as creatine, amino acids, testosterone boosters, and whey protein. These proteins sooth muscle soreness and build healthy muscle tissue.

Some things that will assist you in being able to burn extra fat are carb blockers, supplements for fat burning and appetite suppressors. Antioxidants such as green tea are good for a natural energy boost. Boosters and supplements on the market cant help give you more energy and stamina during your training program.

First of all, you have to eat a balanced diet that is good for your health. Supplements are necessary because it is difficult to get sufficient nutrients from our overprocessed, over-cooked food choices. Supplements are necessary because it is difficult to get sufficient nutrients from our overprocessed, over-cooked food choices.

Vitamins and minerals by itself won’t develop muscle. Getting rid of fat and building lean hard muscle mass requires hard work and dedication. Swallowing supplements without eating a healthy diet and using a training program won’t assist you in building your muscles.

Steroids are a very bad choice for bodybuilding. Although they allow you to build muscles quickly, they also cause a lot of harm. Tendons and ligaments have a hard time keeping up with the fast growing muscles, thus injuries are common among body builders using steroids.

There can also be side effects including strong aggressiveness as well as affecting essential operations in the body including the liver. No magic bullet can make you fit and trim. It all comes down to effort and commitment. These products can also be dangerous.

Never lose sight of the fact that supplements only work when your diet and your training program are optimal. They are the basis of any muscle building program and no amount of supplementation with the latest and greatest products will make up for bad eating habits or improper training.

Fall is a wonderful time to curl up with a good book and sip some hot cocoa on a rainy night but don’t forget about your fitness resolution to lose your tummy. New moms need to remember as the seasons change so does our eating habits. These Four Fall Fitness tips will help you lose the pregnancy weight fast!

1. A Few Tricks can Get you A Treat

As nature’s awe-inspiring collage of fall colors signals the on-coming winter, it’s hard not to notice a change in the local produce available at the farmers market. From orange pumpkins to golden butternut squash and red apples, fall produce is an excellent and delicious source of fiber, vitamins and antioxidants. Fiber keeps you satiated longer because it takes longer to break down and digest. So the trick is to include these foods into your meal plans to maintain a healthy balanced diet. In doing so, you will treat your body to a good dose of nutrients and fiber to keep you full, which will help you to lose your tummy.

2. Watch your Favorite TV show

How often do you waste time sitting and watching TV? Why not make use of your valuable time by exercising while you watch your favorite sitcom? In this way, you will have something to keep your workouts consistent and less of a chore or a bore. So, put your 30-minute sitcom to fat burning use to lose your tummy with a good workout.

3. Fall and Winter Activities

Fall ushers in the many outdoor fall and winter activities that you and your family can benefit. The beauty of taking part in a sport outdoors is that your focus is no longer on the exercise you’re doing but the people you are with and the environment that surrounds you. Hiking in the fall and snow shoeing in the winter with the family is a fun way to burn the calories and lose your tummy outside the confines of a gym or your home.

4. Sign up for a Class

Fall is the season to start losing your tummy by taking advantage of the new autumn fitness programs at your local community center. The great thing about community centers is that they serve the need of the public and are inexpensive. Find a class that fits your interest and fitness level. From Total Body workouts to Classic stretch classes, signing up for one or more of the many fitness classes offered could be the breath of fresh air you need for your workout routines.

Autumn is the prefect season to renew your commitment to lose your tummy and find yourself again. Spice up your meals with healthy fall recipes that will nourish your body and help you lose the pregnancy weight. Make use of being indoors with a workout with the TV or go outdoors and soak up the beauty of autumn with a bike ride or brisk walk with the baby in the park. Healthy living is a way of life not just a diet or a dress size. Keep these tips in mind and enjoy life.

We will present a systematic review of the Sanyo DR-6700 massage chair recliner. This is one of the higher end Sanyo massage chairs. Sanyo is known for integrating many advanced features into their recliners. This review will cover five main categories ranging from warranty coverage to massage therapy. See how this high end massage chair is rated.

Warranty & Customer Service: Warranty is your protection from defects due to materials and workmanship. However, these warranties vary substantially from manufacturer and also by model. Here is the breakdown for the HEC-DR6700K massage chair: 3 years on the roller mechanism. The rollers give you the massage in the chair back. 1 year parts. 1 year labor. 1 year technician field service. We like the 1 year field service, but the parts and labor is rather short. Customer service is pretty good for Sanyo. Overall, the DR 6700 earns an 18.

Comfort & Ergonomics: One of the key elements in design today is the discipline of ergonomics. Ergonomics is the study of how the human body moves. Sanyo has built a fairly well designed chair from an ergonomic standpoint. All is within easy reach. Additionally, the DR6700 is form fitting to the body. The back pad and seat are comfortable to sit in when the chair is not running. Sanyo has done a pretty solid job and we give it an 18.

Ease of Use: One concern we have with the massage chairs is that the dramatic increase in functions could cause the chair to be difficult to use. The manufacturer must innovate with new features, but balance it with a simple and easy to use chair. We like the use of one touch buttons for the automatic programs. When selecting the manual techniques, there are more things to remember to get the chair to do what you want. We do like the layout of the control and the use of LED to show incremental settings. We give it a 17.

Key Features: There are two electronic features integrated into the DR-6700 that are both worth pointing out. These are the physical shape sensor and the stiffness detector. The physical shape sensor memorizes the position of your body. If you move in the massage chair, then the sensor detect such movement. It then adjusts the massage program to your new position. The stiffness detector is based on Sanyo’s lie detector technology. It works by measuring your pulse rate and your level of perspiration. From there correlations have been made to areas of your body originating this increased stress and the chair will then target those areas. We rate these interesting features an 18.

Massage Therapy: The DR 6700 has 4 automatic one-touch massage programs. The programs are as follows: Stiffness, Recovery, Fine and Relax. There are also manual massage techniques which include the following: Grip, Shiatsu, Kneading, Tapping and Combo. Each of these techniques is specialized with a particular movement to loosen or revitalize tight and sore muscles. In manual mode, just select the intensity of the massage to be more or less invigorating or select the width of the rollers to cover the areas of your back that you need attention. Target specific areas by selecting the region which includes: neck and shoulders, lower back, lower body and quick course. You have a lot of good options to choose from with the DR-6700. Our rating of the massage therapy is 19

How did the HEC DR6700K do in our review? We scored this massage chair recliner a 90/100 points. Overall, the DR6700 is a very solid chair. It is comfortable and well designed. You get some interesting advanced electronic features with the physical shape sensor and the stiffness detector. We are somewhat disappointed with the short warranty coverage for parts and labor at 1 year. The massage therapy is very effective and the Grip massage is a nice soothing and relieving manual massage. If you haven’t tried the DR6700K, you should compare it with Sanyo’s top of the line model. The DR-6700 massage chair is one you should look at further in the luxury massage recliners.

It’s daunting and confusing to wade through the many and varied weightloss programs once you decide to drop a few pounds. A proper diet requires knowledge of nutrition, associated health risks, and various diet options. No wonder it can be confusing? First, you must understand the basic principles of good nutrition. This consists of being education about carbs, fats, and proteins. This is a more thorough review of the fundamentals and their meaning.

Carbs help to make sure your body has the fuel it needs. One type of carbohydrate is known as a simple carbohydrate. These are basically sugars. Complex carbs are another type of carbs that are made up of glucose molecules that are in a chain. This is the way that glucose is stored by plants. These carbs take longer for the body to break them down.

Proteins and are in both vegetables and animal foods. Proteins provide the body with the important amino acids that it needs and that is the reason proteins are so important.

Last of all are fats, they are important, although some fats can be detrimental to the body. There are both unsaturated fats and saturated fats. Having the right amount of fats in your body is important, since fat helps the body make certain fats important to your body’s health.

These serious problems can include painful inflammation of joints, diabetes, chronic breakdown of cartilage in the joints leading to pain, stiffness, temporary suspension of breathing occurring in some adults during sleepswelling, strokes, cancer, cardiac disease and even gall bladder problems.

Sometimes people have unreasonable expectations from their chosen diet program, and expect to lose a lot of weight in a very short time. They anticipate the result will be a taut and terrific body like those of the hottest Hollywood celebrities. Well, you need to have realistic expectations. It will take a lot of work, and it will take longer than just one week. Take note, it doesn’t matter what type of diet you decide to do, you will still remain in your personal body and there are some things that cannot change.

Here are a few simple and easy dieting tips that can help you out if you want to lose some weight.

Decide on your goals before beginning a weight loss or diet program. Have some goals. Make plans to where you want to get to in the days or years to come, remembering where you are starting from. Pick a goal you can achieve. If you want to lose 20 pounds, make sure you set a realistic target date.

Don’t procrastinate when it comes to losing weight because time is of the essence. One thing you have to understand is that it isn’t going to be easy, so you’ll have to work hard to get through it. Remember, don’t ever quit no matter what happens or how tough the task is.

You have invested in cutting edge medical billing technology. You brought in a high priced expert to make sure the system was implemented correctly. This should start the money flowing in, unless you have a group of mediocre medical billers. You need a world class medical billing team. Putting such a team in place requires four components:

1) Set up a cadre of tools, individuals and policies to insure you find, hire and retain the best employees:

Medical billing is a critical function and the process for finding and selecting medical billing employees must reflect the criticality of the job. You would not hire an accountant or an attorney based upon a few questions about what they liked or did not like about previous jobs, you should not hire medical billers with any less rigorous a process. Install multiple interviews and multiple testing levels. Test for billing knowledge, work style and work effort. Check references and check criminal history.

The leading billing organizations train to develop desired quality. Junior staff members must pass demanding training programs-junior team members are developed into billers, capable of following the measured and monitored billing process. In addition, staff is trained throughout the year in latest payer rules, follow-up techniques and compliance guidelines. A dedicated Compliance Officer is responsible for all additional HIPAA and OIG training.

If you do not remove weak performers from your team they will demoralize the entire group and will bring most people down to their level of performance. It is. Unfortunately true, that on bad apple can spoil the bunch. Each year remove the weakest members of the team based upon clear performance metrics.

2) Focus your team members: The best medical billing processes are designed to allow individuals to specialize in specific areas such as charge posting, insurance follow-up or payment posting. Such specialization allows the individuals to become true experts capable of spotting issues quickly that billers spending their time performing multiple tasks might miss.

3) Invest heavily in analytical efforts: Continuous improvement of the billing process and the billing team requires significant and on-going analytical efforts. By measuring key factors about both payers and the billing process, a billing group can speed up collections, lower denials and lower the cost of the billing process.

4) Compensate your medical billing specialists based upon performance, not effort: Your billing department should succeed when the practice succeeds. Many good billing systems have been undermined by a compensation approach that does not give the medical billing team the proper motivation to doggedly and efficiently pursue the practice’s claims. Remember to insure the compensation system falls with the OIG’s guidelines.

If you follow these guidelines you can assemble, develop and retain a world-call medical billing team. The results will be well worth the efforts of assembling the team.

Want to know a way to build a better looking body... burn more calories... and more fat -- even when you're not spending time working out?

by Caleb Lee

Want to know a way to build a better looking body… burn more calories… and more fat — even when you’re not spending time working out?

Whether your goal is to bulk up and get really big or to just get that “ripped” look — you need to know how to build muscle. It’s the easiest way to get the look you want. Here’s some tips to build muscle fast.

Contrary to popular belief, building muscle is not that hard. Here are a few great tips to help you build muscle fast so you can reshape your body and even burn more calories when you’re not exercising.

Great Tip #1 - Eat a LOT

If you’re exercising intensely, it’s VERY important to eat a lot. You are damaging your muscles when you exercise and they need good food to repair themselves and grow back bigger and stronger. (the bigger you want to get the more food you should eat!)

If you follow the correct diet you can build muscle while not gaining that much fat… even though you’re eating a lot. The important thing is to feed your muscles because they need lots of nutrients to repair themselves and grow.

Tip Number 2 — Increase Your Rep Volume

Another important way to build up your muscles is to make sure that you do plenty of reps; however, you don’t have to go crazy with it. Doing about 10 reps or so for each group of muscles will really help and they’ll keep your workouts from being too long as well.

Tip Number 3 — Eat Lots More High Quality Protein

If you want to build muscle fast, you really need to increase your protein intake to make sure your body has enough. If the muscles are going to repair themselves, they need to have plenty of protein.

You don’t want TOO much protein though — some people go over board and some people just don’t get enough. Here’s a good guideline: about 1 gram of protein for each pound of your bodyweight.

Tip Number 4 - Don’t do too much cardio

IF you do too much cardio, it’s possible you’ll hamper your muscle building results. So when you’re focusing on putting on quality muscle, lay off the cardio a bit.

I view organization in two ways: effective or ineffective. If what you are happy with your type of organization - why change?

by The Affordable Storage Guy

I view organization in two ways: effective or ineffective. If what you are happy with your type of organization - why change?

We can be very judgmental. I think we spend too much time wondering what other people think about our organizational ability. We often make assumptions about people whose organizational style is different than our own.

What does matter is that you are comfortable with your own organizational skills. Whether you fold your underwear or color code your closet, or drop everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) into a big pile on the floor; you should give yourself permission to be who you are and not let the opinion of others’ upset you. However, if you wish you were more effective. Read on!

Anyway, I digress. The focus of this article is to offer a simple plan for organizing yourself. The first idea is to help with organizing things. The second is a suggestion about organizing your time. The ideas below can work equally well for a school, a house, or a work space.

Three Box System: How To Organize Your Things

First, get three boxes. In large letters label the boxes:

Write ‘THROW AWAY’ on the first box. The second box is the ‘GIVE AWAY’ box. On the third box, write ‘PUT AWAY’.

Sort through a cluttered area and ask yourself three questions to decide which box an item goes into:

1. Have I used this item in the past year? a. Yes? - Put it away. b. No? - Throw or give away 2. Does the item have sentimental or monetary value? a. Yes? - Is it something you want to keep or is it time to pass it on to someone else who would appreciate it? b. No? - Throw or give away. If you want less clutter in your space, you will absolutely need to let go of some stuff! 3. Do I know someone who could use this? a. Yes? - Great! Give it to them. If you think you might need it sometime, just ask them if you would be able to borrow it if you ever need it. b. No? - You can always donate items to the Salvation Army or another charitable society.

WARNING - Beware of the phrase ‘You never know when this will come in handy.’ You’ll never be able to throw or give anything away because it’s too easy to convince yourself that you are being prudent by keeping everything.

Create A To Do List To Organize Your Time

We are all given the same 24 hours in a day to accomplish things. I’m fascinated by how we all make our choices and turn out so differently. Some are billionaires, some are famous celebrities, some are just happy, and,of course, some are neither rich nor happy.

One simple thing you can do to get a better control of your time is to create a daily to do list. It doesn’t matter what you write the list on - as long as you keep it with you. The idea is that you write down all the things you need to get done as they pop up throughout the day including appointments, errands, grocery list items, etc.

In the morning - before things get busy - review your tasks for the day and pick two or three other things that you can complete that day. You won’t always get everything done - just be pleased that you accomplished something! If there are chores that keep getting shuffled to the bottom of the list - that’s okay. There are days when you have nothing to do - that’s when you go after those types of tasks.

Ask yourself if there is anything on your list that you can get someone else to do. Sometimes we think we have to do everything ourselves; which is usually not the only solution.

Organization Can Become A Habit

Whatever you are used to doing is a habit - and it will take a concentrated effort on your part to change. It has been said that it takes 21 days to replace a habit. Why do most New Year’s Resolutions fade? Because we don’t focus on them long enough to become a new habit.

Repetition Is Key To Making A New Habit Stick

So, in your journey to become more effective with your time and/or space be aware that it takes about a month of constant, conscious repetition to make a lasting personal change.
